Adjustable steel shoring posts are commonly used materials in construction. In recent years, as construction needs have evolved, the design shapes have also varied, but overall, they remain largely similar. Since the current national standards are not yet clear, the conventional product parameters from various production companies show slight differences. The adjustable steel shoring posts consist of a lower casing, an upper insert pipe, and an adjustable device. The upper insert pipe has pinholes drilled at regular intervals, and the upper part of the casing is equipped with an adjustable threaded sleeve, allowing for flexible adjustment of the column to various heights, making installation convenient and quick. This is especially suitable for supporting templates in residential building systems.
Structurally, the adjustable steel shoring posts for buildings consist of the following parts:
Upper inner pipe (the length of the pipe can be customized according to the adjustable height required, with regularly spaced adjustment holes drilled to meet size adjustments)
Lower outer pipe (the length of the adjustable steel shoring posts' pipe can be customized as needed, and used in conjunction with the upper inner pipe. Considering the cost-effectiveness of the materials used in manufacturing, the length is generally shorter than the upper inner pipe)
Threaded pipe nut (mainly welded at the top of the lower outer pipe, used in conjunction with the threaded pipe and nut for small size fine-tuning, facilitating the disassembly of the steel support) Top support (there are many types of top supports, commonly used ones include petal supports, U-shaped supports, four-corner supports, flat-head supports, and so on) Base (provides good fixed support, with four drilled holes, and common shapes include petal-shaped and square-shaped).
Material-wise, the adjustable steel shoring posts use steel with strong hardness, high load-bearing capacity, longer service life, and more convenient construction and disassembly. Compared with traditional wood supports, adjustable steel shoring posts are more environmentally friendly, offer more construction space, and facilitate the transportation of materials on the construction site.
First, use the handle to turn the adjusting nut to the lowest position, then insert the upper pipe into the lower pipe to near the desired height, and then insert the pin into the adjustment hole above the adjusting nut. Next, move the adjustable steel support to the working position, and rotate the adjusting nut with the handle to make it firmly support the object. During use, ensure that the adjustable steel shoring post is placed on a flat surface with sufficient strength, and when the usage height exceeds 3.5 meters, reinforce it with clamps and two right-angled or crossed steel pipes to ensure stability.
This is the first one.
